A woman has died in a Reno motor vehicle crash, and several more have been injured. The accident is said to have occurred as one vehicle, a silver Honda, was making a left onto Baker Lane off of Moana Lane. The Honda, turning south from its westbound direction, was struck by a white Ford Mustang, which was heading east on Moana Lane. The woman who was killed was said to be a passenger in the Honda. She was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead. Three other people were taken Renown for treatment of injuries that were said to be not life threatening. These others were two people who were in the Ford Mustang, along with the driver of the Honda. Many people would immediately assume from the description of the accident in the first paragraph that it might have been due to negligence on the part of the driver of the Honda making an unsafe left turn across oncoming traffic. However, the driver of the Mustang was booked on charges of driving under the influence as well as speeding. These are the kinds of things Benson & Bingham would look at in reviewing your case.
